Such things might happen: Bored to death, too tired of living, killing her daughters, stay peacefully alive, OR EVEN GETTING KILLED AFTER LIVING THERE FOR 18 YEARS! I would prefer to study than doing nothing like that, or just read a storybook(an INTERESTING one) rather than dying of boredness.
